Me haces mucha falta.

Ana Leticia

Son of mine, Carlos RIP✝️,

Your departure towards the arms of God hurts me so much–my

heart suffers. My pain is great, my soul is full of sadness. I miss you so much.

Son of mine, I miss your embraces, your gaze full of love towards me, your mother. I miss your daily company, drinking coffee as we always did–seeing you leave for work and then coming home.

I know that God will grant me this: that instead of pain and tears, your memory will bring me smiles.

With much love, we will always remember you for what you were: a great human being full of love and with a heart full of kindness.

You will always exist in every second of my life and as long as God grants me life, I will remember you and love you.

Your mom,
Ana Leticia

My Love Angel,

You are my Love. You will always be my Love Angel that I will miss and cherish.

My Love Angel, you have always watched out for me and loved me. You made my days brighter, you put a smile on my face whenever I was in your Presence. My Love Angel: your Love, Strength and Serenity will always Guide me.

My tears come every time I'm missing you, but I Smile when I think of all the good times, laughs and love we shared with each other.

My Love Angel, I laugh when I think about the funny things you used to say and do. You left me with gifts that will never ever end.

You are my Forever Love Angel. I Love you Always and Forever you are my Forever Love Angel.

Mi Ángel del Amor:

Eres tú mi Ángel del Amor. Serás siempre mi Ángel del Amor, a quien extrañaré y estimaré.

Mi Ángel del Amor, siempre me has cuidado y amado.

I have many memories of my cousin Carlos.

✎When we were kids in Sinaloa, we would climb on a guava tree and grab some guava fruits. Then it would get dark, and my mom would bathe us before putting us to bed.

✎We would ride our bikes to the next town over, Peninsula, with our grandfather, RIP. We had to be careful with the puddles on the road because there was no pavement.

✎Carlos went to school with me. The teacher would always ask him to read the book about the little duck–a book from first or second grade that had a little duck on its cover. Since Carlos loved that book, people would call him "the little duck book" at school.

✎Then I remember that when Carlos went to the US, he would say that he would never forget about us. From the US, when we talked on the phone, he would cheer me up and tell me to work hard. He told me he felt happy and sad at the same time because he was Sinaloense, but he liked another culture: he wore cornrows, braids and all that. When I went to Los Angeles, I realized that it was true. He looked good with his braids and fluorescent clothing.

✎He liked music from Sinaloa–Chalino Sanchez and Vicente Fernandez.

✎His dream was to come back to Sinaloa and see his family.

Later, we didn’t talk for sometime.

It makes me happy that Carlos was always a beautiful and wonderful person. He never gave up. He always worked hard in life.

English Translation
I recall seeing him smile–memories I shall never forget. I hold on to moments when we used to chat, moments that circle my mind. It’s as if I hear his voice.

I cannot forget the last time I saw him with such bliss and full of life. My mind pulls back in time many years ago to when he was little: those happy years. A happy boy playing with the toy trucks in the dirt, with the spinning tops or the marbles.

That boy with a tender smile.

But my mind returns to the present; that’s when I suddenly face the sad reality and I see that loving, joyous boy who has become a man. A man that God decided to take away, leaving us with immense pain.

Rest in peace, nephew. Sending a hug all the way to Heaven.

Sabes cuánto anhelaba volver a verte.

English Translation
My beautiful angel,

My heart is still sad since the day I received that call in which sadly it was confirmed that your heart beat no more. Even though I know you are in a better place where there is no pain, your departure hurts greatly.

I shall keep all the memories and beautiful moments that, as children, we shared together.

I want to remember you by your little face of a mischievous, happy, ingenious child; but above all with a great heart.

I would like to turn back time and hug you. You know how much I longed to see you again. As fate would have it, that wasn't the case. God decided to take you to Him; mayhaps he required a beautiful angel. That angel was you.

I shall never forget you. You will always live in my mind and heart. May you rest in peace.
